Manchester's Original Music Station: Your Memories

This year, Piccadilly Radio is 35 years old.
To celebrate we're taking a look back at some of the big events in the station's history - and see how the station grew into what we know today as Key 103 and Magic 1152 Manchester.
But what are your memories of the station?
Who were your favourite DJs?
Were you ever a big winner or get on air?
Post them below -

I was lucky enough to meet Cliff Richard in the 80's at the old Piccadilly building in the Plazza. Must admit it was a bit of a dump.

Phil Wood on Sundays I used to love his programme especially the bit around 12noon when he used to play the tapdancing song to get everyone going.

In 1977 my street held a party for the Queen's Silver Jubilee. We had a big marquee in the middle of the street and we all wore fancy dress. Piccadilly Radio came and I sang God Save Our Gracious Queen (only I couldn't say queen - it was tween). I couldn't understand how my gran had heard me as she lived in Bury - I was 4 at the time. xx
