Key Issues : Living with Cervical Cancer

A young Manchester mum with cervical cancer has been telling us she's glad Jade Goody's plight is raising awareness of the disease.
Charlotte Hughes was 20 when she was diagnosed with cervical cancer and is now undergoing chemotherapy.
Now aged 23 she's urging health bosses to to lower the minimum age for screening.
She speaks to us as charities say Jade Goody, who also has cervical cancer, is helping to raise the profile with more people getting checked for the disease.
Cancer Research UK says increasing numbers are going for screenings and visiting their website.
The reality TV star has been told she only has months to live.

| We met Charlotte and her friends and family for the 1st time last night. My husband The Mississippi Soulman sang at her charity night at The Toll Gate and I'd just like to say that Charlotte is an inspiration to all women and the love and strength from all her friends and family was immense.xxx |
