The Internet reacts to the North Yorkshire earthquake in the best way

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 struck

Published 4th Jan 2017

An earthquake with a magnitude of 3.9 struck Scarborough off the North Yorkshire coast on Tuesday night and whilst it was the biggest earthquake to hit Britain in almost a decade, most residents didn’t feel a thing…

Of course that led to people taking to social media to react to the incident and even had the hashtag #prayforscarborough trending on Twitter, amongst some rather sarcastic memes.

The recent earthquake was the biggest to hit the UK since February 2008 when a 5.2 magnitude tremor was reported in Lincolnshire.
