Tram passengers injured in van collision
Police are investigating after a van ran a red light at hit a tram in Oldham.
Police have released a picture of a crash after a van went through a red light in Oldham and smashed into a Metrolink tram.
It happened last night (Tuesday 3rd May) on Oldham Street.
The van driver fled the scene after the collision.
Police say two passengers on board the tram suffered minor injuries.
There's an appeal for witnesses or information.
