WE LOVE MICHAEL BUBLE - Lets be honest.. who doesn't!!
Today Mike and Chelsea spoke to the CANADIAN crooner as we were given special time at this Manchester home (or the Lowry).
Listen again as they talk Christmas, Bedroom Antics and Dirty Martini's!!
Talking of Christmas - Michael Buble has come up with his fifth studio release, which is also his first full-length Christmas album. This week it’s already at Number 2 and is going head to head for the Christmas No1 Album with Amy Winehouse.
Bookies William Hill make the Amy Winehouse album their 4/7 favourite to take the coveted Christmas number one album spot on the 25th. Her nearest challenger is Michael Buble at 11/8 with Rihanna & One Direction 7/1 shots.
It’s his third chart-topper following 2007’s Call Me Irresponsible and 2009’s Crazy Love. Aside from recording duets of perennial Christmas favourites like White Christmas with country music star Shania Twain, Buble also recorded his own rendition of Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas Is You and a brand new track, Cold December Night. Jingle Bells is also given a 50s-style makeover, with a little help from retro trio The Puppini Sisters.
His smooth tones are well suited to an offbeat take on Elvis Presley’s Blue Christmas, fully furnished with lip-quiver and knee-jerk. (and that's just Chelsea!) Obviously, he's thrown in a few standards for good measure, peaking with a symphonic version of his chart smash Haven’t Met You Yet. But it was the poignant song Home, which he dedicated to those who cannot be with their families at this time of year, that sparkled.
Nobody does Christmas feel-good better than the Buble´.
