The American Pie and Pineapple Express star who now is the BIG MAN in the brand new movie GOON. Nice-guy Doug (Scott) works as a bouncer in Massachusetts, hanging out with his chucklehead pal Pat (Baruchel) and wondering when he'll discover something he's good at, like his doctor brother Ira. His parents (Levy and David) don't conceal their disappointment when Doug joins a hockey team as a hard-headed goon whose role is to fight opponents. Then he's picked up by a professional team in Canada, which puts him on a collision course with his idol Ross. The film focuses on the brutal nature of the sport with Seann's character becoming embroiled in a series of bloody, on-screen punch-ups.
Not only did we talk about AMERICAN PIE and his Stiffler history, we also talked about his Mum who is a massive church-goer and what it was like when she saw his American Pie movies.
Also, Seann admitted he was petrified at the prospect of fighting Liev Schreiber in the slapstick comedy Goon. "I was in my hotel room watching Wolverine and Salt the night before. I had to use all my strength to take on Liev. He's huge and it was pretty aggressive. That's why the fight came off so well; it really was no joke."
